In thinking about my PLE I was reminded how much I am looking forward to the OU's SocialLearn platform.
I use iGoogle to draw together info/apps and I hope I am right in thinking this will enable you to bring lots of fantastic gadgets together in one place to support individual learning tools and preferences:
