More PLE

If I've understood this activity correctly then I am reorganising/grouping my PLE into categories to understand it better/gain insights?

So I started by splitting it into online (left hand side) and offline (right hand side) and realised that most of my learning now takes place online. No surprise there, I almost live online :-)

Then, building on my initial hypothesis in my first post that my PLE seemed quite 'web 1.0', amassing content rather than producing, I tried splitting it by consumption-based technologies (or at least technologies that I use in a consumptive fashion) and technologies I use for (collaborative) content production. This is showing my PLE in relation to the constructivist approach maybe? I found the results surprising. I am 'producing' more than I thought (right hand side). Although about half of those tools I have only started using since the start of H800 (bottom right quartile).

Lastly I rejigged my PLE to show the tools I use only for learning and the tools that I use for learning and in a social/entertainment capacity. I think it's interesting that I now need to qualify what I mean by social. Social used to be separate from work/education but now it all seems a bit mixed. If you have 'social learning' then is that part of your 'social life'.

Apologies again for the 'quick and dirty' visuals.
